A trading partner is any person or organization with whom you want to conduct business electronically. In the webMethods Chem eStandards Module, a trading partner is defined by several criteria that you specify in a trading partner profile, including company name and identifying information, contact information, and delivery methods.

In addition to specifying trading partner profiles for all of your trading partners, you must specify a profile for your own organization.
