Transactional Listeners

If you enable a transactional listener, but have not enabled any notifications to process the message, and the message passes through the listener filter criteria, then the message does the following:

Rolls back to the queue

Eventually goes to the backout requeue or dead letter queue depending on the Handle Backout ReQueue property.

Note:
A transactional listener is associated with a transactional connection.
