Applying the Private Key to an Adapter Connection Using Keystore and Truststore Aliases
Beginning with Integration Server, you can use a keystore and truststore alias to configure an SSL connection in WebSphere MQ Adapter.
Before configuring the adapter connection, you must configure a keystore alias and a truststore alias in Integration Server Administrator. For detailed information about configuring keystore and truststore aliases, and securing communication with Integration Server, see the webMethods Integration Server Administrator’s Guide for your release.
*To apply the private key to an adapter connection using a keystore and truststore alias
1. Import the certificate obtained from the CA to a java keystore. Make sure that the private key is also imported.
Note:
If the private key-public key certificate is created using a java keytool, this step is not required.
2. Specify the following parameters in the MQ Adapter connection properties:
*SSL Option: Select the keystore alias option to configure SSL connections using a keystore and truststore alias.
*SSL Keystore Alias: The alias for the keystore file.
*SSL TrustStore Alias: The alias for the truststore file.
