Creating DataSets
You can manage the dataset operations manually on TCStore using the Integration Server Administrator screen.
* To create a dataset
1. In the Adapters menu of Integration Server Administrator's navigation area, click webMethods Adapter for Terracotta DB.
2. On the adapter's screen, click Dataset Operations.
3. In the Dataset Admin Operations section, use the following fields:
Field
Description/Action
DataSet Operation
Select the Create operation.
Connection Name
Select the configured connection.
DataSet Name
Specify the name of the dataset.
Key Type
Specify the key type of the dataset
Off-heap Resource
Specify the name that matches the name provided in the path service/offheap-resources/resource element of TCStore server XML configuration.
Note: If you provide any invalid value for Off-heap resource then TCStore server shuts down and the Create operation responds after the timeout(15 secs).
Disk Resource
Specify the name that matches the name provided in the path service/data-directories/directory element of TCStore server XML configuration.
4. Click Submit.
