Before Configuring or Managing Adapter Connection
Perform the following steps before configuring or managing adapter connections.
* To prepare to configure or manage adapter connections
1. Install webMethods Integration Server and Adapter for Terracotta DB on the same machine. For details, see Overview of installing and uninstalling Adapter for Terracotta DB.
2. Make sure you have Integration Server administrator privileges so that you can access Adapter for Terracotta DB's administrative screens. For information about setting user privileges, see the webMethods Integration Server Administrator’s Guide for your release.
3. Start your Integration Server and Integration Server Administrator, if they are not already running.
4. Using Integration Server Administrator, make sure the WmTCDBAdapter package is enabled. For instructions, see Enabling Packages.
5. Using Designer, create a user-defined package to contain the connection, if you have not done so. For more information about managing packages for the adapter, see Overview of Package Management.
