Importing Transaction Definitions

Importing Transaction Definitions One at a Time Using Integration Server Administrator
Importing All Transaction Definitions Using Designer
You can use the procedure in this section to import the following types of transaction definitions into the repository or shared cache:
*Sample transaction definitions
If you plan to use the sample transaction definitions to configure adapter services, you must first import the transaction definitions. The sample transaction definitions are located in the following directory:
Integration Server_directory \packages\WmOAAdapter\sampleTxns
Note:
The sample transaction definitions are the same transaction definitions that were provided with Oracle Apps Adapter.
*Transaction definitions used by the predefined transaction services
If you plan to use the predefined transaction services, you do not have to import their associated transaction definitions. This is because the transaction definitions that were installed as part of the predefined transaction services are loaded automatically by Integration Server at startup. For the location of the transaction definition files, see the webMethods Oracle Applications Predefined Transaction Services Installation and User's Guide for the version of Oracle Applications with which you are using the adapter.
*Transaction definitions that have previously been exported to files
*Transaction definitions that have been modified or custom built
After you import transaction definitions, they are stored in the repository or shared cache.
You must make sure that the files you want to import are located in the following directory:
Integration Server_directory \packages\WmOAAdapter\exchange
Note:
Any .txp files in the \exchange directory are automatically imported when Integration Server starts or when the WmOAAdapter package is reloaded.
Transaction definition files must use the .txp file extension.
You can import transaction definition files in the \exchange folder from Integration Server Administrator or from Designer. Integration Server Administrator lets you import one transaction definition file at a time; using Designer you can import all transaction definition files.
