Welcome to the webMethods OnRamp for Commerce One MarketSite 
solution for communicating with Commerce One MarketSite 
applications. This file provides important information on using 
C1 OnRamp.

For information about C1 OnRamp 3.0 enhancements, see the 
Release Notes document in the directory in which you installed 
your webMethods Integration Server software.

1.0 Fixes Since Last Release

C1 OnRamp 3.0 incorporates all patches to previous C1 OnRamp 
releases, as follows:

2.0 Enhancements Since Last Release

The following services have been added to C1 OnRamp 3.0's 
WmMarketConnect package. See the webMethods OnRamp for 
Commerce One MarketSite User's Guide for details.

Service                           Description

pub.marketconnect.attachment:     Creates an attachment from  
createBinaryAttachment            a binary object.

pub.marketconnect.attachment:     Creates an attachment from  
createDocumentAttachment          a document object.

pub.marketconnect.envelope:       Looks up a sender or recipient
getDDID                           ID in a mapping and returns        
                                  the corresponding DDID.

pub.marketconnect.envelope:       Looks up a DDID in a mapping 
getDDIDMapping                    and returns the corresponding        
                                  sender or recipient ID.    
            
pub.marketconnect.transport:      Registers an envelope handler 
setDocumentHandler                service and the document type  
                                  it handles in a lookup table  
                                  used by the receiveEnvelope 
                                  service.

The following features have been added to C1 OnRamp 3.0. See 
the webMethods OnRamp for Commerce One MarketSite User's Guide
for details.

Communicate with Multiple MarketSites

-  New configuration option named Aliases for defining 
   communication settings for multiple MarketSites.

Validate Outgoing Documents

-  xCBL Validation configuration option allows specification 
   of default validation for outgoing documents.

Test Asynchronous Connections

-  Aliases configuration option and the Test Connection 
   utility allow testing of asynchronous connections to 
   MarketSites.

Convert to and from DDIDs

-  New configuration option named DDIDs for creating 
   DDID to sender ID and DDID to recipient ID mappings.

Upgraded Envelope Log

-  Storage of all envelopes, received, or both. 

-  Both reply envelope and errors also stored.

Upgraded Errors Log

-  Access to error information through C1 OnRamp interface.

-  Errors persisted across sessions.

-  User controls when to discard errors. 

Ability to Use Trading Networks Features

-  New package named WmMarketConnectTN enhances C1 OnRamp 
   by using certain features of webMethods Trading Networks. 
   (If you want to use this package with C1 OnRamp 1.0, ask 
   webMethods Customer Support for the required patch.
 
Internationalization

-  Support for operation in non-English language environments.

Documentation Upgrade

-  Completely rewritten webMethods OnRamp for Commerce One 
   MarketSite User’s Guide.

Installation Standardization

-  C1 OnRamp installed by downloading a zip file and unzipping 
   into an Integration Server directory.

The webMethods OnRamp for Commerce One MarketSite User's Guide
is provided as a PDF file in the WmMarketConnect/doc directory. 
To view the guide, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or 
later. You can download and install Acrobat Reader 4.0 from:

5.0 Getting Started

You access the C1 OnRamp interface through Integration Server 
Administrator.

The OnRamp for Commerce One MarketSite User's Guide provides task-
oriented material on configuring C1 OnRamp; communicating with 
MarketSites and CommerceOne.net Marketsites via SSL; creating 
envelope handler services, send services, startup services, and 
RoundTrip response services; testing connections and services; 
validating xCBL documents; and troubleshooting C1 OnRamp. The 
guide also contains reference material on the processing C1 OnRamp 
performs for envelopes it receives and envelopes it sends, and 
on built-in C1 OnRamp services. See Section 4.0, "Documentation," 
for information on displaying this guide.
