Nested data objects such as Structures and Classes are not supported at this time. Should services be generated for methods containing nested data objects as input or output parameters, invocation of those services will fail.

The webMethods for Microsoft Package provides two kinds of tracing for services created from .NET assembly methods: .NET assembly method invocation tracing and .NET assembly introspection tracing. Both kinds of tracing information are written to the same log file.
The log file for all tracing performed by the webMethods for Microsoft Package is:
<IntegrationServerDirectory>\logs\traceManagedServer.log
Please see thewebMethods for Microsoft Package Installation and User's Guide 6.5for more information.
This release adds several new features to the webMethods' support for .NET. The key features of the release include:
· You can invoke methods on .NET assemblies as services. You can then use these services just as you would use other services in webMethods Fabric.
· You can invoke services natively from .NET applications using the .NET native API to Integration Server. This feature allows you to invoke services from .NET assemblies written in any .NET Framework language.
· We provide the webMethods Add-in for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. This feature allows you to introspect services in webMethods Fabric and invoke .NET native client code to invoke those services.

webMethods for Microsoft Package 6.5 conforms to the international standards of webMethods and includes support for operation in any country, locale, or language. Support for character encodings and proper formatting, display, and validation of data (such as number and date formats) has been provided throughout the package. The webMethods for Microsoft Package 6.5 complies with the requirements of Unicode Standard 3.0 and later.
This version of the package was tested with both English and Japanese versions of the .NET operating environment (CLR), including passing non-ASCII data values. .NET services invoked through the Microsoft Package have their default thread CultureInfo set by the "Locale Policy" property you apply to the service in webMethods Developer. By default this is the session locale of user invoking the service, which may be different than either the .NET host environment or the Integration Server's JVM default locale. You can also set the property to a specific value.
If you expect to display non-English data in your webMethods tools, make sure an appropriate font is installed in your operating environment. If you see hollow boxes or black squares where you expect to see non-English data, modify your JRE font.properties file to reference the font. For information on modifying your font.properties file, go to Sun's Java website. For information on the JRE provided with this release, go to:
