Enabling Adapter Connections
An Adapter for HDFS connection must be enabled before you can configure any adapter service by using the connection, or before an adapter service can use the connection at run time. You enable adapter connections by using the Integration Server Administrator.
Note:
When you reload a package that contains enabled connections, the connections are automatically enabled when the package reloads. If the package contains connections that are disabled, they remain disabled when the package reloads.
To enable a connection
1. In the Adapters menu of the Integration Server Administrator's navigation area, click webMethods Adapter 9.8 for HDFS.
The Connections screen appears.
2. On the Connections screen, click No in the Enabled column for the connection you want to enable.
The adapter connection is enabled. In addition, the
Integration Server Administrator displays a
symbol and
Yes in the
Enabled column.
