After receiveCXML parses the request message, it initiates the processing of the request. How the request is processed depends on whether Trading Networks is used.

If Trading Networks is not used, the cXML request is processed in Ariba Supplier OnRamp, using a built-in document processing mechanism. For a description of this mechanism, see cXML Document Processing without Trading Networks .
