Refresh data of dashboard components
You can refresh manually the data evaluated in a dashboard component currently displayed.
The usage of the manual Refresh option is independent of the Auto Refresh.
The data is extracted from the cache or recalculated if the Refresh Rate of the data source has expired. The default Refresh Rate value is 30 sec. You can set the Refresh rate in the Assign data dialog.
Procedure
1. View dashboards in Business Analytics
2. Click on a dashboard component.
3. Click the Menu icon > Refresh.
The dashboard component will be displayed with the refreshed data.
Most of the dashboard components provide the Auto refresh option. With this option you can activate the automatic data retrieval for a component. According to the set Refresh Rate the source data are read in again and recalculated automatically. The Auto refresh option is available on the Config tab in the component properties. In the dashboard edit mode click on an inserted component to display the properties dialog.
