Create Channels
Creates a channel on a Universal Messaging server instance.
Syntax
sagcc create configuration data nodeAlias Universal-Messaging-instanceName
UM-CHANNELS {--input|-i} file.xml
Arguments and Options
nodeAlias
Required. The alias name of the installation in which the Universal Messaging server instance is installed.
Universal-Messaging-instanceName
Required. The ID of the Universal Messaging server instance on which you want to create a channel.
UM-CHANNELS
Required. The ID of the configuration type of which you want to create an instance.
--input|-i file.xml
Required. The absolute path to the XML file that contains the configuration properties of the channel.
Examples
To create a channel on the server instance with ID "Universal-Messaging-umserver" that is installed in the installation with alias name "sag01", using the "channel_create.xml" file:
sagcc create configuration data sag01 Universal-Messaging-umserver
UM-CHANNELS -i C:\Channels\channel_create.xml
The XML file contains the channel attributes and has the following format:
