Insert Label in a dashboard
You can insert a Label in your Freeform dashboard.
A Label displays a fixed text you have entered, or a text that is supplied dynamically by a datasource.
Procedure
1. Create or open a dashboard in Presto Freeform.
2. Click the Label component icon. The selected component is inserted as simple, graphic block in the dashboard and the properties dialog is displayed.
3. Enter an optional component Name.
4. Enter text in the text field.
You can enter a fixed text manually or assign a dynamic text from a data source.
*Double-click the text field and enter a text manually. To enter several lines increase the size of the label component by pulling the anchor points with your mouse and enter line breaks.
*Click the Configure icon to edit the data source assignment. See Assign data sources to Label for details. For long texts increase the size of the label component by pulling the anchor points with your mouse.
5. Click the Configure filter icon to specify filter conditions. See Define filters for dashboard components for details.
6. Select a Style for your displayed text in the drop-down menu.
7. Select the Alignment of the inserted text. Default is left aligned.
A Label will be displayed with a fixed text or a dynamic text from the assigned data source.
