Insert Image in a dashboard
You can insert an Image in your Freeform dashboard.
The image component supports the file format PNG, GIF and JPEG. The image file can be picked up from a web source or a local folder.
Procedure
1. Create or open a dashboard in Presto Freeform.
2. Click the Image component icon. The selected component is inserted as simple, graphic block in the dashboard and the properties dialog is displayed.
3. Enter an optional component Name.
4. Enter a Source URL to the image source. The URL can refer to an internet source (http) or a locally hosted resource uploaded to the Presto repository. The local URL has the following form: /presto/files/<resource name>
You can upload your images to the Presto repository, see Add External Resources as Presto Files for details.
5. Activate the Original option to display the image in the original size.
6. Activate the Scaled option to display the image fitted to the component frame size.
7. Activate the Aspect ratio option to keep the aspect ratio of the image.
8. Select the Horizontal alignment in the drop-down menu to align the image within the component frame.
9. Select the Vertical alignment in the drop-down menu to align the image within the component frame.
An image will be displayed in the dashboard.
