The high-level, core components in the Presto platform shown in the following diagram are two web applications: the Presto Hub, where users create mashables, mashups and apps; and the AppDepot, where users find and work with published apps in desktop browsers.

In addition, Presto contains the Presto Server, the Presto Repository and the Presto Analytics In-Memory Stores to process mashables, mashups and apps at runtime and support creation and management of these artifacts.

Extensions and add-ons for Presto are presented later in this introduction.
