The Presto Add-On for Excel allows worksheets in your organization to become information sources in Presto and to become destinations for mashup and mashable results from Presto.

This add-on adds a toolbar to Excel that allows you to import results from Presto mashups or mashables to a worksheet so that you can work with it. You can refresh results in your worksheet, as needed. Access to Presto mashables and mashups is secure, using Presto policies.

The Presto Add-On for Excel also allows you to register Excel worksheets as Presto mashable information sources to allow worksheet data to be used in mashups or apps or to allow other Excel users to share worksheet data by importing the mashable into their own worksheets.

Presto mashables may have a simple snapshot of worksheet data or they can have a dynamic connection for worksheets hosted in SharePoint or other document management systems that support HTTP access. For mashables with a snapshot of data, you can update mashable data as needed using this add-on.
