Presto Real-Time Analytics Add-On with Terracotta BigMemory
This Presto Add-On, unlike other add-ons, is not a destination for apps nor an alternate source for information for Presto. Instead, it enables Presto to handle business problems involving ’big data,' such as social media sentiment trends, machine-to-machine interactions, operations monitoring or risk management for real-time transactions.

Presto Analytics, a new component in
Presto, to load large datasets from different data sources and use analytics within mashups to quickly analyze and derive meaningful insights.
Presto Analytics includes RAQL to query large datasets and apply analytics, as well as extensions to EMML to work with streaming datasets. RAQL also supports access to a variety of data sources including files, snapshots from mashables or mashups and databases.

™ BigMemory to provide the straight-forward, extensible, fast in-memory data management needed to work with large datasets.
BigMemory is available in Presto, with limited memory, to let you evaluate Presto Analytics and to support the Presto Analytics In-Memory Stores and Presto caches. The BigMemory Add-On allows you to extend available memory to support your full requirements for large datasets by installing BigMemory as a separate server, hosted externally from Presto. You can easily scale available memory with BigMemory servers, handle distributed caching for Presto clusters and use robust production features such as failover and a management console.
