Presto Development and APIs : Presto Platform API Console : The JackBe Universal Message Protocol (JUMP)
The JackBe Universal Message Protocol (JUMP)

JUMP Requests
JUMP Responses
JUMP is a deprecated protocol used in previous Presto releases for requests to and responses from Presto to invoke mashables or mashups. However, JUMP is still used extensively in the Presto platform APIs.
JUMP is based on the JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) format to provide a compact wire presence. JSON represents objects as a hierarchy of name/value pairs using braces ({ }) and other simple delimiters to define the syntax. Values can be simply types, objects or arrays. See the json.org site for a good introduction to the JSON syntax.
