TheMashZone NextGenRepository and MashZone Repository are initially installed in a Derby database suitable only for trial purposes. For proof-of-concept, development or production uses, move both these repositories to a robust and compatible solution.
You can host the MashZone NextGen and MashZone Repositories in any database that MashZone NextGen or MashZone supports. See MashZone NextGen and MashZone Database Compatibility in System Requirements for details.
You can move both of these repositories to one of the following databases:
*Microsoft SQL Server: see Move MashZone NextGen and MashZone Repositories to Microsoft SQL Server for instructions.
*MySQL: see Move the MashZone NextGen and MashZone Repositories to MySQL for instructions.
*Oracle: see Move the MashZone NextGen and MashZone Repositories to Oracle for instructions.
