Insert Horizontal and Vertical Gauge Charts in a dashboard
You can insert a Horizontal and Vertical Gauge Chart in your dashboard.
A Horizontal or Vertical Gauge chart displays a set of aggregated KPI values. The value ranges are arranged in a horizontal or vertical bar with a pointer that indicates the actual value of the KPI.
Procedure
1. Create or open a dashboard in MashZone NextGen Dashboard.
2. Move the mouse pointer over the Speedometer Chart component icon.
3. Click the Horizontal Gauge Chart or the Vertical Gauge Chartcomponent icon. The selected component is inserted as simple, graphic block in the dashboard and the properties dialog is displayed.
4. Click the Assign Data icon to edit the data source assignment. See Assign data sources to Horizontal and Vertical Gauge Chart for details.
5. Click the Filter icon to specify filter conditions. See Define filters for dashboard components for details.
6. Enter an optional component Name.
7. Set the Container properties. See Hide or display component header and border for details.
8. Activate the Auto Refresh option to set the automatic data retrieval for the component.
9. Activate the Scale option to display a scale in the chart.
10. Activate the Scale Value option to display the scale values in the chart.
11. Activate the KPI Name option to display the KPI name in the chart.
12. Activate the KPI Value option to display the KPI value in the chart.
13. Activate the Threshold option to display the threshold in the chart.
14. Activate the Threshold Value option to display the threshold value in the chart.
15. Activate the Level Meter option to display a level meter in the chart.
16. Activate the Percentage option to display a scale from 0 to 100% in the chart. The KPI value is also displayed in percent.
17. Select the scale size in the Scale Size drop down menu bar.
A Horizontal or Vertical Gauge Chart will be displayed with real data of the assigned data source.
