Electronic Data Interchange
Use the predefined operations in the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) application to parse, validate, and transform EDI messages received from the webMethods.io B2B application. Use these transformed messages to create orchestrations.
This application requires you to have access to the webMethods.io B2B product instance.
Note: Only the documents you add in the webMethods.io B2B product tenant appear on the EDI application page of the corresponding Integration Cloud tenant. And these documents are available across all projects.
The following predefined EDI operations are available:
Operation | Description |
| Adds a functional group header to an EDI message according to the UN/EDIFACT, ANSI X12, UCS, or VICS standards. |
| Adds an interchange control header to an EDI message according to the UN/EDIFACT, ANSI X12, UCS, or VICS standards. |
| Converts a document to an EDI message. |
| Converts an EDI message that is a stream or string into a document. |
| Accepts and processes the envelope of an ANSI X12/UN/EDIFACT/UCS/VICS or EANCOM EDI message and converts the envelope header segments to a document. |
