Apama 10.7.2 | Using Apama with Software AG Designer | Using Query Designer | Creating queries in Query Designer | Enabling diagnostic logging

Enabling diagnostic logging
You can enable diagnostic logging for a query file in Project Explorer view (available in all perspectives) and Minimal Navigator view (available in Apama Workbench) perspective. If you enable this feature, the selected query is generated with extra diagnostic logging when you run the project. A query with diagnostic logging enabled will have extra logging at both INFO and DEBUG level. To view the DEBUG level logging, you must run the correlator with its log level set to DEBUG. For more information, see Correlator arguments.
For information on logging attributes, see Setting EPL log files and log levels dynamically in Deploying and Managing Apama Applications.
*To enable diagnostic logging
1. In Project Explorer, right-click the query file.
2. Click Apama > Diagnostic Logging.
A check mark appears for Diagnostic Logging specifying that diagnostic logging is set to true for the selected file.
