Support for Java Web Start has been removed in this version. Thus, it is no longer possible to deploy a dashboard as a Web Start application. Instead, you should now deploy it either as a simple, thin-client web page or as a locally installed desktop application (the Dashboard Viewer). See also Deployment options.

In Software AG Designer, it is no longer possible to select the Web Start deployment type in the Dashboard Deployment configuration editor. Existing dashboard_deploy.xml files that specify this deployment type will automatically have this type removed from them when opened. It is then up to you to specify a different deployment type.

As of this version, you can no longer use the CLASSPATH environment variable to configure the correlator's system classpath. See also the announcement in Removed and deprecated features in 10.1.

The REST API key virtualMemorySize is now deprecated and will be removed in a future release. Use the new key virtualMemoryMB instead. See also Miscellaneous enhancements and changes in 10.3.0.

Python 2.7 is no longer shipped with Apama. Support for Python 2.7 is now deprecated and will be removed in a future release. Until support is removed, PySys and the shipped Apama extensions can be used with a Python 2.7.13 installation if one is provided by the user. See Miscellaneous changes in 10.3.0 affecting backwards compatibility for details of how to do that. It is strongly recommended to use Python 3 for any new development.
