When to use plug-ins
A custom plug-in is a suitable solution in the following situations:
*You have an in-house or third-party library of (possibly complex) C++ functions that you want to re-use. Or you have Java classes that you want to reuse.
*The operations you need to perform are more easily/efficiently performed using the C++ or Java language than using EPL. For example, you need to use data structures that are not easily represented in EPL.
