Creating an application key
* To create an application key
1. Create an account with Cumulocity IoT. For more information, see the Cumulocity IoT User's Guide.
2. Log in to your Cumulocity IoT account, and go to Administration.
3. Go to Applications > Own applications. Click Add application.
4. Select the application type as External application.
5. Provide a valid name, application key, and external URL.
6. Click Save.
