Using command-line tools for monitoring the correlator
It is also possible to use the Apama command-line tools to monitor aspects of the correlator, including queue sizes and access to the log file. For example, you can run the engine_inspect, engine_watch or engine_receive tool.
You can run an Apama command-line tool by logging in to the Cumulocity IoT Edge system using ssh and then prefixing the command with ap. For example, you can enter the following to get a snapshot of the correlator queue sizes and other statistics:
ap engine_watch --once --all
The correlator's log file is accessible at /opt/softwareag/cumulocity-apama-rules/deploy/logs/correlator_defaultCorrelator.log.
