This document covers the following topics:
You can now use SSL/TLS to access the web application in a browser. You can now also specify your own application name for all server types.
For more information, see Using NaturalONE > Setting the Preferences > Natural I/O.
This section describes new features and enhancements in NaturalONE's basic functionality for Natural application development.
It covers the following topics:
When debugging a Natural application that uses database loops (for example with
READ, FIND, or HISTOGRAM statements), or uses
PARSE XML or PARSE JSON statements, Natural source lines
referencing local system variables will now be displayed after the variable names.
For more information, see Using NaturalONE > Debugging Natural Applications > Using the Debug Perspective > Variables View.
The Natural STRUCT command has been enhanced to support additional formatting options. For more information, see Using NaturalONE > Setting the Preferences > Struct.
A new optional preference to remove trailing whitespaces has been introduced. For more information, see Using NaturalONE > Setting the Preferences > General Source Editor Settings.
A profiler session can now be saved as a CSV file in addition to the existing XML format. The saved profiler session is shown in the Project Explorer view and in the Natural Navigator view.
You can open the saved profiler session in the editor area by double-clicking it or by using the command.
For more information, see Using NaturalONE > Using the Natural Profiler > Saving the Results of a Profiler Session.
When debugging Natural objects, the Upload and Update icons are now available on the toolbar.
For more information, see Using NaturalONE > Debugging Natural Applications > Using the Debug Perspective.
A button has been added to the Map a Natural Server Environment dialog box. This allows you to save the Natural server configuration without immediately mapping the environment. The saved configuration can be used to map the Natural environment at a later time.
For more information, see Using NaturalONE > Accessing a Remote Development Environment > Mapping a Natural Environment.
The BMOBILE:CAROUSEL controls provide a configurable slideshow component
for displaying images or cards. It supports dynamic content, user interaction events,
navigation controls, automatic rotation, and runtime integration with Natural
applications.For details, see BMOBILE:CAROUSEL, BMOBILE:CAROUSEL2 and BMOBILE:CAROUSELITEM
BMOBILE:NUMBERINPUT is a responsive numeric input control with built-in
spinner functionality. Developers can restrict valid values using min,
max, and step settings while benefiting from standard
client-side and server-side validation. For details, see BMOBILE:NUMBERINPUT.
BMOBILE:TAGINPUT is a responsive control which allows users to enter and
manage multiple values as tags with support for client-side and server-side validation,
autocomplete-based selection lists, grouping, and custom styling. For details, see
BMOBILE:TAGINPUT and BMOBILE:TAGAUTOCOMPLETE.
The OPENSTREETMAP MAPMARKER control now supports the new
addressprop property. This property enables the control to retrieve and
display location information based on an address value, providing an alternative to
coordinate-based positioning.
The NJX:NJXFILEUPLOAD2 and BMOBILE:FILEUPLOAD controls now support file uploads to the
web application server's file system in addition to uploads to the Natural server. The
new filestoragemode property determines the storage destination, allowing
files to be stored either as BLOBs on the Natural server or in a designated directory on
the web application server running on Windows or Linux.
Error handling for communication between the browser and web application servers has been significantly improved. Newly designed error dialogs provide clear and immediate feedback when communication issues occur, helping users identify and understand problems more easily. These enhancements also prevent the application from becoming unresponsive during error situations, resulting in a more stable and reliable user experience.
Natural for Ajax now uses newly designed message pop-ups to display system notifications such as license warnings and other important messages. These modern pop-ups are also available for use in your own applications, enabling a consistent user experience for application-specific messages. See the NaturalAjaxDemos application for an example implementation.
The NJX:SESSIONPARAMS control now supports dynamic stylesheet
switching for responsive applications. This enhancement allows stylesheets to be changed
at runtime, enabling seamless and simple adaptation of the user interface to different
devices, screen sizes, or user preferences. For implementation details and usage
examples, refer to the new sample included in the NaturalAjaxDemos.
The responsive logon page has been refreshed with an updated design and improved usability. Enhanced input validation, clearer error messages, and improved error marking provide better user guidance and simplify error resolution.
