Preparing a Natural Project
While the workspace holds the preferences that apply to all projects, each Natural project in the workspace has its own project settings.
To view the settings of a project, select the project in the Explorer and choose Natural Properties Manager from the context menu. The view opens with the settings of exactly this project. See The Natural Properties Manager for a description of the available sections.
Before using a project, check the following:
*Adjust the launch. In the Environment section, under Connection, select the launch used by the project. Alternatively, choose maintain launches to create or modify a launch. See Maintaining Launches.
*Synchronize the project settings. If the Synchronize button in the view header is enabled, the settings in the project's .natural file and its deploy.xml are no longer consistent. Hover over the button to display the inconsistencies which are resolved when you choose this button.
Important:
Commands such as Build, Run Without Debugging, and Start Debugging require a launch that matches the project. These commands fail until a launch has been selected.
