Natural for Visual Studio Code 1.2.1 | Debugging the Natural Application | Starting a Debug Session

Starting a Debug Session
Open the Natural program that you want to execute and select Start Debugging (F5). The application runs on the Natural Development Server (NDV) and stops at the breakpoints set in the sources. You can then control the execution as described in Controlling Execution.
The browser shows the application output. See also Preparing the Natural Output.
To execute the application without debugging, select Run Without Debugging (Ctrl+F5). The application is executed in the same way but does not stop at breakpoints.
Note:
The launch configuration must match the project. Select the launch configuration in the Environment section of the Natural Properties Manager or in the Run and Debug view. Use the stopOnEntry parameter of the launch configuration to make the debugger stop automatically after the launch. See also NatDebugDefault Configuration.
A Natural application that was not started from Visual Studio Code, is debugged by attaching to it. See Debugging with an Attach Launch.
