Selecting, Moving and Resizing Fields
Click a field to select it. Use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to add more fields to the selection. Click an empty area of the canvas to clear the selection.
Use the marquee tool to select all fields within a rectangle that you drag on the canvas.
To move a selected field, drag it to a new location. The field snaps to the character grid, so you can place it only on whole rows and columns.
To change the width of a field, drag the resize handles on its left or right border. A field always occupies exactly one row, so you cannot resize scalar fields vertically. The field width also snaps to whole character columns.
The map model validates every move and resize operation. If it does not allow the new position or size, for example, because the field would extend beyond the screen, the field remains at its previous position and size.
