Natural for Visual Studio Code 1.2.1 | The Natural DDM Editor | Editing DDM Fields

Editing DDM Fields
Each row in the table represents a DDM field or a comment line. The DDM type (ADABAS, SQL, VSAM, DL/1, and so on) determines which columns are shown.
You edit cell values in place. When you move the focus to columns such as Type, Format, Suppression, and Descriptor, a selection box shows the allowed values.
The DDM model validates every change. For example, when you change the Format column, the model adjusts the Length to a valid value. If you enter an invalid value, the model rejects the change and reports the reason in the status bar.
Press ESC to cancel a cell edit and return the focus to the table.
By default, the editor saves every change automatically. If you want to change this behavior, use the natural.ddmEditor.autoSave preference. See DDM Editor Preferences.
