Natural for Visual Studio Code 1.2.1 | The Natural DDM Editor | Search Hits in DDM Sources

Search Hits in DDM Sources
When you select a workspace search hit (Find in Files) in an .NSD file in the Search view, the DDM editor opens the DDM source but does not select the cell that contains the hit.
Visual Studio Code passes the position of a search hit only to text editors, not to table-based editors, and does not make the search term available to extensions. Therefore, the DDM editor opens the source as usual, with the selection bar on the first line and without the find bar.
If you enable the natural.ddmEditor.searchPositioning preference, the DDM source first opens in the text editor, which determines the position of the hit. The DDM editor then opens and selects the cell that contains the hit. As a result, the DDM source briefly appears in the text editor each time you open it, which may cause a visible flicker. For this reason, the preference is disabled by default.
To view a DDM source as plain text, use the Open in Text Editor command in the editor toolbar or the command palette. The source remains open in the text editor until you close the editor.
