Data breakpoints, also known as watchpoints, allow you to pause execution whenever the value of a variable changes or a variable condition is met.

To set a data breakpoint, right-click the variable (it must be a scalar) in the Variables view to open the following context menu:

Choose the Break on Value Change command to add a data breakpoint to the Breakpoints view.
