With Adabas Version 8.4 and above on Mainframes, it is possible to have W (wide-character) fields in superdescriptors. This is also supported in Predict.
With Adabas Version 6.4 and above on Linux, UNIX and Windows platforms, it is possible to have LA (long-alpha) fields in super- and subdescriptors. This is also supported in Predict.

Generation it is possible to suppress comment lines in the DDM source. But this
suppresses also the information about the source fields of sub- and
superdescriptors. With the option General comments=D, it is
possible to suppress comment lines but keep the information concerning the
source fields of sub- and superdescriptors.
