The API subprograms that refer to nicknames for an address at an external node (such as Z-ADD01) or external nodes (such as Z-ADD74) contain the following parameter:

Note:
You can also specify an asterisk (*) in the first byte of the
parameters RGN, REN, DGN or DEN and leave the remaining bytes empty. When you
specify an asterisk, the user is later prompted to provide further
information.
