Installation Parameters for Adabas

This section describes all installation parameters that you need to include in jpz_variable_input_file.txt to configure Jopaz for Adabas. You must define all of these parameters before installing Jopaz if you want to use Jopaz in conjunction with an Adabas database.

Parameter	Description
JPZ_ADABAS	Specifies whether to use Jopaz in combination with an Adabas database. Possible options are YES or NO.
JPZ_ADABAS_PROG	Specifies the Adabas program to run. The installation default is PROGRAM/PROG=USER.
JPZ_ADABAS_SVC	Specifies the SVC number under which your Adabas database is running. For example: 249.
JPZ_ADABAS_DBID	Specifies the ID of the Adabas database with which you want to connect. For example: 12345.
JPZ_ADABAS_LOAD	Specifies the DSN of your Adabas load library, which is part of your Adabas installation. For example: SAG.ADABAS.LOAD.
JPZ_AJZ_LOAD	Specifies the DSN of your AJZ load library, which is part of your AJZ (AdabasClient) installation. For example: SAG.AJZ.LOAD.
JPZ_AJZ_INSTALLATIONPATH	Specifies the USS directory where the AJZ (AdabasClient) directory is installed. For example: /opt/softwareag/.
JPZ_AJZ_JVMPROC	Specifies an AJZ front-end program name for the Java Virtual Machine procedure on your machine. The AJZ installation default is AJZJVMP.
