Restricting CDD Access to Defined Users
You can restrict access to a CDD by enabling the Maximum CDD Security option. When this option is enabled for a CDD, CONNX denies access to any users that are not defined in the CDD, even if they provide valid database credentials. You must have a CDD password to enable this option.
*To enable the Maximum CDD Security option for a CDD:
1. Go to the main online CONNX Data Dictionary Manager page.
You can select CONNX Data Dictionary from the home page or the tile menu on the top right.
2. Open a CDD for editing.
3. Click Gear Icon > Settings in the top right.
4. Select the CDD Security tab.
5. Toggle the Maximum CDD Security option on.
6. Click Save.
