Restarting Event Replication
Restarting event replication includes:
Opening a CONNX Data Dictionary (CDD).
Start the replication server, the source database, and the target database.
Restart event replication when an error that caused replication to stop has been corrected.
After restarting event replication, you will be able to check the server status.
If Adabas Event Replicator for LUW has been stopped, restart the target servers to enable replication.
If a replication server or source database was stopped due to an error, Restart Servers can restart the replication server or source database once the error condition has been corrected. See the log file in the Replication Log Directory for more information.
All replications that have been processed while the servers have been stopped remain in the queue in the received order. After the servers have been started, Adabas Event Replicator for LUW processes the replications in the order they appear in the queue.
Note:
Restart Servers does not start individual servers. All severs listed in the Server Status tab will be started.
1. Open the Adabas Event Replicator for LUW CDD.
2. Click the Server Status tab.
3. Click Restart Servers.
The State Description will be updated according to the actual status of the servers. When the state becomes Replicating, the servers are successfully restarted.
