Cutting or Copying and Pasting a Record in the CDD

To cut or copy a record in a CDD:

1. Start the CONNX Data Dictionary Manager.

2. Browse to a CDD and click the Open button.

3. Select a record and click Edit -> Cut or Copy.

4. Select a new location for the record within the database and click Edit -> Paste Record.

5. Type the new name of the object in the Rename Object dialog box and click the OK button.

The record appears in the new location with the new name.
