Creating Oracle Sample Database Tables
The following procedure runs a script designed to insert CONNX sample data into an Oracle database installed on an Oracle server.
1. During installation, click Yes to install the sample database tables, or go to Start > All Programs > CONNX Sample Databases > Build Oracle Sample Data. The Oracle Sample Database Logon dialog box appears.
You must have write privileges in order to use the Oracle sample tables.
2. Ensure that the Oracle Client is installed on the client machine, then enter your SQLNet alias and your Oracle user name and password.
3. After the installation is complete, click OK to return to the final installation procedures.
You can refer to the samples in the post-installation stage by opening the CONNX Data Dictionary Manager window.
