Configuring Additional CDD Options
You can use the web based CDD Manager to configure any of the following options:
Use Quoted Delimiters
This option governs the use of reserved keywords and symbols. See CONNX Reserved Keywords and Symbols Reference for more information. On by default.
Enable CONNX Database Catalog Support
This option toggles the CONNX Catalog Support. Disable it if you are using single table names. See CONNX Catalog Support for more information. On by default.
Prevent this CDD from being linked as a child
If set to on, the CDD will not be able to be linked as a child to another CDD. Off by default.
Enable NT Integrated Security
If set to on, this option enables Integrated Windows Authentication. Off by default.
Allow Pure Passthrough Queries
If set to on, you can use the CDD to run queries on the database server. Off by default.
Allow On the Fly CDD Metadata Updates
If set to on, the CDD metadata is updated every time a query is performed against a table in the CDD and the schema is more recent compared to the one stored in the CDD. Off by default.
Note: 
This feature is only supported for relational databases that allow metadata queries.
*To configure the additional CDD options:
1. Go to the main online CONNX Data Dictionary Manager page.
You can select CONNX Data Dictionary from the home page or the tile menu on the top right.
2. Open a CDD for editing.
3. Click Gear Icon > Settings in the top right.
4. Select the Options tab.
5. Toggle any option you want.
6. Click Save.
