Adding Settings
You add CONNX, CDD, and JDBC settings with the online CONNX Configuration Manager. For a list and descriptions of the available configuration settings, see
CONNX Configuration Settings.
You must have write access to the registry to add any registry values.
To add a setting:
1. Go to the main online CONNX Configuration Manager page.
You can select CONNX Configuration Manager from the home page or the tile menu.
2. Select the appropriate tab for the type of setting you want to add: CONNX Settings, CDD Settings, or JDBC Settings.
The CONNX Settings tab is selected by default.
3. Select a key location in the Current Key dropdown menu.
4. Click Add Value.
5. Enter a name for the new value in the Value Name field.
6. Enter a 64-bit value in the 64-bit Value Data field.
When the 64-bit and 32-bit values are the same, the 64-bit and 32-bit values are the same toggle switch is On.
You can switch the toggle to Off to update the 32-bit Value Data field with a different value.
7. Click Add.
The new setting is now in the list.
