Configuring IMPORTALTINDEXES

Enabling IMPORTALTINDEXES
To enable IMPORTALTINDEXES, log on to the CICS region on which the CONNX for VSAM components have been installed, clear the screen, and type:
NX01 IMPORTALTINDEXES 1
or
NX01 IMPORTALTINDEXES
NX01 IMPORTALTINDEXES 1 explicitly sets the option to 1. The expected response is:
Entry Added (IMPORTALTINDEXES)=(1)
NX01 IMPORTALTINDEXES removes the configuration option and thereby restores the default setting of 1. The expected response is:
Removing Configuration Entry (IMPORTALTINDEXES)
Configuration Entry Successfully Removed. (IMPORTALTINDEXES)
Disabling IMPORTALTINDEXES
To disable IMPORTALTINDEXES, log on to the CICS region on which the CONNX for VSAM components have been installed, clear the screen, and type:
NX01 IMPORTALTINDEXES 0
The expected response is:
Entry Added (IMPORTALTINDEXES)=(0)
Verifying IMPORTALTINDEXES Status
You can verify the current status of the configuration setting by clearing the screen again and entering NX01.
The current CONNX for VSAM is displayed, for example:
