About the Online CONNX Data Dictionary Manager
You can use the web based version of the CONNX Data Dictionary Manager to perform the following tasks over the internet:
*Create, duplicate, rename, and delete CDDs.
*Download and upload CDDs to the REST Server.
*Add, rename, delete, and configure databases and database connections in a CDD.
*Edit table properties, column information, and view table indexes.
*Delete and rename tables in a CDD.
*Work with CONNX Views.
*Configure CDD security and administration.
You need to use the Windows version to perform the following tasks:
*Clone or create a table in a CDD.
*Cut and copy records in a table.
*Configure a rotated array.
*Calculate record offsets.
*Change the CONNX database owner name.
*Use the Update Statistics function. See Updating Statistics in the CONNX Data Dictionary Manager for more information.
*Use the Find feature. See Using the CONNX Find Feature for more information.
*Work with DB2 dynamic SQL packages. See CONNX Db2 Dynamic SQL Packages for more information.
*Work with DB2 static SQL packages. See Building a Static SQL Package Using the CONNX CDD Import Utility for more information.
*Import DB2 stored procedures. See Importing Stored Procedures for more information.
