In an extended configuration file, if a line includes a special character that you want to be treated as a literal, you must escape it by inserting a backslash just before it. A character that follows two consecutive backslashes (\\) is treated as literal. Single quotes inside double quotes are treated as a literal. Double quotes inside single quotes are treated as a literal. See the example in Sample extended configuration file.
