Miscellaneous enhancements and changes in 10.11.0
Apama 10.11.0 includes the following miscellaneous enhancements and changes:
*Apama 10.11.0 incorporates the ICU (International Components for Unicode) time-zone data update 2021a, which is the most recent update at the time of release. This will update time-zone data used by the correlator and Time Format EPL plug-in.
*A new key for monitoring the peak physical memory usage of the correlator, peakPhysicalMemoryMB, has been added to the /correlator/status REST endpoint. This is useful for checking whether the correlator is running on an adequately provisioned machine. For more information, see List of correlator status statistics and Managing and Monitoring over REST.
*Apama now provides a --shutdownTimeoutSecs correlator option. This option is used to specify the maximum time allowed for the correlator to shut down after all persistence activities have been completed. When this time has elapsed, the correlator shuts down forcibly, ignoring any transport or plug-in shutdown activities. This option is especially useful to prevent indefinite hangs caused by plug-ins. If this option is not provided, a default value of 90 seconds is used. See Starting the correlator.
A corresponding YAML element with the name shutdownTimeoutSecs is also provided. See YAML configuration file for the correlator.
