Apama provides a connectivity plug-in, the Kafka transport, which can be used to communicate with a Kafka distributed streaming platform.

The samples/connectivity_plugin/java/KafkaTransport directory of your Apama installation includes a sample Kafka connectivity plug-in that requires building against whichever version of Kafka you are currently using. You can make changes to this sample as needed. See the README.txt in the above mentioned directory for more information.
