Apama Documentation : Using Apama with Software AG Designer : Setting the Apama Preferences : Scenarios
Scenarios
The Scenarios page of the Apama preferences pertains to the Event Modeler (see also Developing Apama Applications in Event Modeler). It provides the tabs described below.
Note:
Event Modeler is deprecated. Support for creating and deploying scenarios will be removed in a future release. It is recommended that you use EPL or queries to build new Apama applications.
General
The General tab provides the following options:
State Graph / Wiring Graph
The options in the State Graph group box pertain to the Event Modeler's Event Flow tab. See also Working in the Event Flow panel.
The options in the Wiring Graph group box pertain to the Event Modeler's Block Wiring tab. See also Using the Block Wiring tab.
In both group boxes, you can set the following options:
*Show grid. If selected, a grid is shown in the tab.
*Snap to grid. If selected, snap-to-grid is enabled in the tab. This helps you align the items in the tab evenly.
*Grid color. The color that is currently used for the grid is shown on this box. Click this box if you want to define a different grid color. You can then choose a new color in the resulting dialog.
*Grid spacing. Specifies the spacing between the grid lines. If you want to increase or decrease the grid spacing, enter a new value in pixels.
Undo / Redo
The History size defines the maximum number of edits that are to be kept in the undo history of the Event Modeler. You can use the standard Eclipse Undo command (or Ctrl+Z) multiple times to undo several actions at once, up to the limit set with this option.
Colors and Fonts
Colors and Fonts tab allows you to change the colors and fonts of most of the graphical elements of the Event Modeler display. It provides the following options:
Colors
The colors that are currently used for the different elements are shown in the color column. To change the color for an element, click on the color that is shown for that element. In the resulting dialog, you can then pick a different color.
Fonts
The fonts that are currently used for the different elements are shown in the font column. To change the font for an element, click on the font description that is shown for that element. In the resulting dialog, you can then pick a different font.
