Apama Documentation : Using Apama with Software AG Designer : Setting the Apama Preferences : Catalogs
Catalogs
The Catalogs page of the Apama preferences allows you to specify what catalogs are available to your workspace. You can add catalogs for bundles, blocks and functions that are not included as part of the standard Apama installation. You can also remove catalogs. For more information on catalogs, see Using the Catalogs tab.
The tabs that are available on this page (Bundle catalogs, Block catalogs, or Function catalogs) all look alike. Each of these tabs provides the following buttons:
Command Button
Description
Add
Add a catalog for bundles, blocks, or functions that are not included as part of the standard Apama installation. In the resulting dialog, you have to select the folder that you want to add.
When you add block and function catalogs, they will be available when you work on a scenario in the Event Modeler.
Note:
Event Modeler is deprecated. Support for creating and deploying scenarios will be removed in a future release. It is recommended that you use EPL or queries to build new Apama applications.
Add Variable
Add variables to your build path. In the resulting dialog, you can select one or more variables which point to a folder. Or you can click the Extend button for a selected variable and then select an archive within the folder.
Remove
Remove the selected catalog.
