About Event Replicator Target Adapter Data Mapping Tool ********************************************************** Event Replicator Target Adapter Data Mapping Tool is used to create the Global Format Buffers/Global Field Format Tables (GFB/GFFT) required for replication of Adabas source data using the Event Replicator for Mainframes. It can also be used to map Adabas data to third party RDBMS target databases supported by and through the Event Replicator Target Adapter. There are no significant enhancements to this version beyond the rollup of bug fixes from previous versions and updated product documentation. B. Supported Platforms ********************** Windows 10 Professional Edition (64 bit) Windows Server 2016 (64 bit) Windows Server 2019 (64 bit) Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or greater (x64 only) SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 or greater (x64 only) C. List of supported RDBMS targets ********************************** The following targets are supported by the Event Replicator Target Adapter Data Mapping Tool: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later. Oracle 10g or later. DB2 9.1 for Open Systems or later. DB2 Version 9 for z/OS or later. MySQL 5.0.17 or later. PostgreSQL v9.2 or later. Teradata V12 for Open Systems or later. NOTE: If a third-party vendor drops support for a version of one of their products or even for an entire product, Software AG automatically drops support for that version or product as well. When this happens, Software AG may not necessarily announce this drop in support in an earlier Event Replicator Target Adapter Data Mapping Tool release. D. Software Requirements ************************ The user must supply the third party jdbc .jar files required to establish connection to the target RDBMS system for direct Adabas field to relational field mapping. Refer to the documentation for your RDBMS product or contact your product vendor to obtain the proper jdbc driver files. See the product documentation for details and additional information. E. Installation *************** Event Replicator Target Adapter Data Mapping Tool is installed using SAGInstaller. The installation is not meant to update any existing installation of the application. An application over a previous version is not supported. If you want to install the product in the same location as an existing installation, you should first uninstall the older version from your environment. See the complete documentation for more information. F. Known Problems ***************** None known at release date. G. Updates to This Version ************************** Please check for and apply any applicable fix to this version immediately after installation and before using the product.
